Upon arrival to Costa Rica, gather your luggage, make your way through customs and exit the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR). Our crew will be waiting for you as you exit.

Load up into the van and we will take you to our boutique hotel on the coast to get settled in for the evening. If you brought your own bikes, our team will be available to help you assemble them. For those renting bikes, our team will get you fitted and set up with your rental for the trip.

Oceanview Rides + SUP

Load up and head to the nearby beach town of Las Catalinas for a full day riding super flowy singletrack with incredible views of the coastline below. Our ride will end with a refreshing dip in the ocean and time to relax on the beach.

After the ride, we'll take you into town for a late lunch overlooking the water. We'll give you some time at the end of the day to rent a SUP or kayak and spend an hour (or two) relaxing on the calm waters of this beautiful bay. It's often hard to leave this magical place.

At the end of the day, return to your hotel for the evening.

Rainforest Adventure

After breakfast at your hotel, our team will pick you up and take you to a private trail system near the Rincon de la Vieja volcano.

We will take you on a big loop through the rainforest, stopping at waterfalls along the way to jump in and cool off. We will tailor the length of the ride to your skill level and energy levels, but expect to be out for 3-5 hours. Bring lots of water and electrolyte replacements as you’ll definitely break a sweat in the rainforest!

After your ride, enjoy a healthy farm-to-table buffet lunch on the open-air veranda of this beautiful hacienda. For those that wish to top their day with more adventure, you can add in a zipline tour, a waterfall rappel, or tube down a river.

Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening with dinner at one of the nearby cafes on the beach.

Beachfront Trails + Epic Sunsets

Today we will head out from the hotel to ride a trail system near Playa Avellanas. A couple climbing track options provide access to a series of downhill trails ranging from green to black in difficulty. Our team will tailor the day to your skill level and take you on a variety of laps to explore this unique area.

We will ride as many laps as you wish and then head to the beach to jump in the ocean and cool off. We'll spend some time at the beach, grab a late lunch, and watch the sunset at one of our favorite beachfront cantinas.

Return to your hotel to rest for the evening.

Transfer to LIR or other CR Destination

Today you'll have the option to go for a morning ride before packing up to head to your next destination. Your departure time will be based off the continuation of your travels in Costa Rica.

We will create a seamless transition for you to get you to the airport or your next location in Costa Rica!

This trip is for riders looking to experience some of the best trails and bike parks in nouthern Costa Rica - the Guanacaste province. This trip really shines for intermediate riders but there are options to create routes for beginner and more advanced riders. The riding style here is predominantly XC.

We will take you to ride the trails around Las Catalinas, which have minimal technical features. These trails are good for all levels of rider. What makes them special is the ocean views and ability to connect a variety of really fun loops.

Next we take you into the mountains to ride near the Rincon de la Viejo volcano. The trails here are blue/intermediate with some fun advanced features that can be added in to increase the fun factor for more advanced riders. There are also smaller loops we choose to tailor to more beginner riders.

The last trail system we take you to has trails that range from green to black in difficulty. We will tailor the day to your skill level and energy levels. This place shines for the fun advanced features, awesome ocean views, and a killer beach session at the end.

This package travels to three different areas in Guanacaste. Most travel times are within 1 hour of the hotel.

The trails available in this package provide options to tailor each ride to the group's ability level. There are excellent loops for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. For that reason, we consider this package to be an all levels experience.

That being said, the trails on this trip really shine for intermediate riders. There are loops that are easier and others with excellent options to play in more advance terrain and on more advanced features.

Each day, we will tailor the riding to your interests and energy levels. In general, plan to ride for 3-5 hours each day.

In general, you can expect hot sunny days in Costa Rica. Typical year round temperatures range from 80-90F (26-32C) during the day and only dropping a few degrees in the evenings. You will also be able to leave items in our van each day so you can have back up supplies if needed throughout the day.

Yes, it is very hot and humid in Costa Rica. We recommend all riders should be prepared to carry 1-2L of water on them each day.
